Today I am grateful for...
People who like me, because I love to be liked,
People who don't, because it gives me an opportunity to grow,
People who love me, because love fills me with joy,
People and losses that have hurt me, because when they broke my heart, they opened it,
New friends, because it's more people to love
(and because some will stay until they are no longer new),
Old friends because they are soft landing places in a hard world
(and because they are really, really loud when they cheer me on),
Today I am grateful that I truly can see
the good,
the bad,
and
the good in the bad,
and that I can see that most of it is good
(or for good),
once it's all been said and done.
