The Law of Attraction says that the 3 things we need to do in order to manifest the things we want are: Ask. Believe. Receive. (It is very important to KNOW what to ask for too- the more specific you are the better!)
You may not have realized it, but there are many stories that get in the way of taking those three simple steps. I believe that one of the most powerful things you can do to help you get out of your own way is to practice gratitude.
Why? Because gratitude helps you quiet the stories that hold you back, it takes you out of fear, and out of your head, and into the positive attitude that has the power to attract all those miracles you want in your life.
It may seem like a bad day (and maybe it is a TRULY bad day), but those bad days are the ones where gratitude can help you the most.
I am not suggesting you don’t have valid reasons for being in a bad place, or to not acknowledge your feelings, or to push them aside. I am suggesting that there is always something more. There is always something to be grateful for. Finding what to be grateful for doesn’t deny the bad things, or take away their importance, it merely shifts your attitude, and allows you to vibrate at a more positive frequency - and that allows more good things to come your way.
Imagine that you are a radio. The stations that you tune into are the ones you will hear and that will dictate your “vibe”. Gratitude tunes you to a different station- one that is positive and life-affirming. The others aren’t gone-they are still on the dial, but they are no longer where your focus lies, and, more importantly, they are not dictating your vibe. Positive attracts positive! The gratitude station tunes you in to the positive energy- and you can shift to that station just by finding something to be grateful about. Because of the shift it creates in your energy and the way that it clears the path for those things that you want to reach you, think of gratitude as the power behind the punch when practicing the Law of Attraction.
